Evity and Fortnox
Evity has a ready-made integration with Fortnox Lön. Employee data is kept up to date between the systems, so no one has to enter the same information twice.

How the integration works
You connect the systems by logging in to your Fortnox account from Evity and approving access. Then you choose which system is the master, meaning the system that applies when the data differs.
The first time, Evity shows a list that matches the employees in Fortnox with the employees in Evity. You choose which ones to link and start the sync. When it is done, the administrator receives a summary by email. After that, the linked employees are updated every night.

- Employee number
- First and last name
- Phone number and email
- Personal identity number
- Address, postal code, city and country
- Job title
- Bank clearing number and account number
- Tax table
- Employment percentage
- Salary
- Employment start and end dates
You choose which of the fields to sync, and whether work emails or private email addresses are included.
How to connect the systems
- Go to Integrations in Evity's settings and select Fortnox.
- Log in to Fortnox and approve access for Evity.
- Choose which system is the master and which fields to sync.
- Match the employees in the list and start the sync.

- Which system decides when the data differs?
- You choose. When you connect the systems, you specify whether Fortnox or Evity is the master. That system applies when the same field has different values.
- Can we choose which data is included?
- Yes. You check the fields to sync, and choose whether work emails or private email addresses are included. Anything left unchecked is not touched.
- Do we need both an HR system and a payroll system?
- Usually, yes. The payroll system calculates and pays out salaries. The HR system handles everything around it: employment, contracts, reviews, skills and the pay equity audit. The integration means the two systems share the same employee data.
