When do we use Twine instead of an integration built into Evity?

When Evity does not have its own integration with your payroll system. If we do, as for Fortnox, Kontek and Visma Agda, you use that.

Get in touch. Twine builds new integrations as needed. If you have your own developers, you can also build directly against Evity's open API.

Do we need both an HR system and a payroll system?

Usually, yes. The payroll system calculates and pays out salaries. The HR system handles everything around it: employment, contracts, reviews, skills and the pay equity audit. The integration means the two systems share the same employee data.

If Evity has no integration of its own with your payroll system, we connect the systems through Twine, an integration platform for HR and payroll systems in the Nordics. That gives Evity access to payroll systems such as Visma Net Payroll, HogiaLön Plus, Flex HRM, Nmbrs and Spiris Lön.

How the integration works

Twine, run by Entwine AB in Stockholm, is an integration platform for HR and payroll systems in the Nordics. Evity is one of the HR systems on the platform, which means Evity can be connected to payroll systems we do not have our own integration with.

If Evity has its own integration with your payroll system, such as Fortnox, Kontek or Visma Agda, you use that. If there is no dedicated integration, we connect Evity through Twine instead.

Twine fetches the data from Evity when something changes and updates the payroll system. If the employee does not exist there, it is created. According to Twine, most integrations are up and running the same day.
